Every week, Netflix releases a list of the 10 most-watched TV shows over a recent seven-day period. Below, we’ve listed the top 10 shows in the U.S. from July 24 to July 30, along with general information about each show, including genre, rating, cast, and synopsis.
Note: There will be a description of plot points from each of the series, so consider this a spoiler warning if you haven’t watched them yet. 9. Too Hot to Handle season 5 (2023)
The setup for Too Hot to Handle is perfect. Ten attractive singles believe they have signed up for a dating show with booze, hookups, and parties. These contestants cannot form a meaningful relationship, so a naughty dating show is their version of heaven. However, the party comes to a screeching halt with the arrival of an AI traffic cone named Lana, the host of Too Hot to Handle.
The swimsuit-wearing individuals must soon face the harsh reality of Too Hot to Handle. While on the show, they may not act on their sexual desires, which means no kissing, self-gratification, or sexual content. If a contestant breaks a rule, their $200,000 grand prize gets reduced. It’s survival of the abstinent in Too Hot to Handle.
8. The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 (2023)
Mickey Haller is riding high in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2. Fresh off a big win at the end of season 1, Mickey’s celebrity has dramatically increased as L.A.’s hottest defense lawyer now has his pick of high-profile cases. Things are on the rise for Mickey when he meets restaurateur Lisa Trammell (Lana Parrilla). The two have a steamy relationship, but the passion quickly disappears after Lisa is arrested and charged with murder.
Lisa goes from Mickey’s lover to his client as the defense attorney faces another messy trial. Season 2 is based on the fourth book in Michael Connelly’s series, The Fifth Witness. Part 1 consists of five episodes, which are now available to stream. The remaining five episodes in Part 2 will stream next month on August 3.
7. Suits season 2 (2012)
In Suits season 2, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is still working associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) despite not having a law license. Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), one of the founding members of the law firm, found out about Mike’s secret at the end of season 1. However, she remains silent when her co-founder, Daniel Hardman (David Costabile), returns to the firm after his wife’s death.
Daniel left the firm in disgrace years prior. The entire second season builds around the impending showdown between the team of Jessica and Harvey against Daniel. The slick legal drama benefits because of the chemistry between Adams and Macht as they make for an entertaining team.

5. Baki Hanma season 2 (2023)
Based on Baki, the Japanese manga series, Baki Hanma (Nobunaga Shimazaki) is a high schooler on a mission to become the best fighter in the world. In season 1, Baki battled everyone and everything, from a praying mantis to a Jun “Mr. Second” Guevaru.
In season 2 of Baki Hanma, the titular hero faces a new challenge in the form of Pickle (Takeshi Kusao), a prehistoric caveman who once fought and defeated dinosaurs. Upon being revived, Pickle now sets his sights on new challengers, with Baki being one of them. If Baki defeats Pickle, he will be awarded a dream matchup against his father and foe, Yujiro Hanma (Akio Ōtsuka).
4. Quarterback season 1 (2023)
Have you ever wondered what life is like for those players who play football’s most important position? Go inside the huddle with the QB in Netflix’s new docuseries, Quarterback. The series follows three quarterbacks during the 2022 season: Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kirks Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, and Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons.
Similar to HBO’s Hard Knocks, Quarterback focuses on the lives of Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota as they navigate challenges on and off the field. Quarterback shines a light on football’s highest-profile position and the pressure that comes with it to succeed.
3. Mark Normand: Soup to Nuts (2023)
After grinding in comedy clubs for almost 20 years, comedian Mark Normand finally gets his first solo comedy special with Netflix. Titled Mark Normand: Soup to Nuts, the 39-year-old is a showcase for his signature dark humor. From jokes about HBO and Barbie dolls to farting in front of your spouse, Normand delivers his jokes with an awkward, zany style.
Normand has been supported by the comedic legend Jerry Seinfeld, who taught the younger comedian to intertwine clean jokes with morbid humor. Filmed at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, Normand finally gets his chance to shine after years of being a supporting player.
2. The Witcher season 3 (2023)
For one last time, Henry Cavill suits up as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher season 3 volume 1. Season 3 zeroes in on the relationship between Geralt and Princess Cirilla of Cintra (Freya Allan). Geralt is entrusted with caring for Ciri, so he takes her into hiding as the beasts, mages, and monarchs set out to capture her. Joining Geralt in this mission is Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), who helps to train Ciri as a mage and witcher.
Based on Time of Contempt in Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher book series, season 3 involves corruption and deception as Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer must fight to protect their freedom. This marks the last season as Geralt for Cavill as Liam Hemsworth will wield the sword and step into the role for season 4.
1. Sweet Magnolias season 3 (2023)
Return to Serenity, South Carolina, and revisit the friendship between Maddie Townsend (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Helen Decatur (Heather Headley) and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott) in Sweet Magnolias. Having been friends since childhood, the three women are navigating problems of love, romance, careers, and friendship in adulthood. Plus, the friends are business partners after opening the Corner Spa.
In season 3, Helen is in a love triangle, Dana Sue rekindles with her formerly estranged husband, and Maddie continues her relationship with Cal (Justin Bruening). Unlike recent Netflix series, which have been split into parts, all episodes of season 3 are now available to stream.
